Journey through Ecuador’s rugged Andes and lush Amazon on this 14-day adventure. Starting in Quito’s colonial old town, you’ll head north to hike around the volcanic Cuicocha Crater Lagoon and browse the famous Otavalo indigenous market before relaxing in the natural hot springs at Papallacta. From there, drop into the Amazon rainforest for guided wildlife walks, a visit to the AmaZoonico animal rescue centre, and cultural experiences with the Quichua and Shuar communities. Crossing back into the highlands, you’ll explore the Chimborazo Wildlife Reserve, the turquoise Quilotoa Crater Lagoon, and Cotopaxi National Park along the spectacular Avenue of the Volcanoes.
