Uganda Tours & Holidays
Uganda holidays bring you face to face with mountain gorillas, tree-climbing lions and the source of the Nile. Few African countries pack this much wildlife into one journey.

Uganda is one of Africa’s most diverse wildlife destinations, home to mountain gorillas, chimpanzees and rare tree-climbing lions within a single country. Shaped by the Nile and the Great Rift Valley, it features lakes, forests and savannahs across ten national parks, offering rich biodiversity and authentic cultural encounters.
Our Uganda tour packages move from Entebbe and the source of the Nile north through Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to Murchison Falls National Park, then west into Kibale Forest, Queen Elizabeth National Park and the gorilla forests of Bwindi. The pacing leaves time to track primates on foot, cruise the Kazinga Channel and meet local communities, with scheduled small group departures and bespoke Uganda holiday packages both available.

Undiscovered Destinations creates thoughtfully designed Uganda tours that go beyond the usual highlights, combining iconic sights with rewarding lesser-known experiences. Our routes carry you from the source of the Nile and Murchison Falls in the north, through the chimpanzee forests of Kibale, the savannah and lakes of Queen Elizabeth National Park, and on to the mountain gorillas of Bwindi.
Our Uganda holidays are operated in small groups, allowing for a more personal and flexible experience with expert local guidance throughout. For travellers drawn to wildlife-led journeys with genuine cultural depth, our escorted small group tours of Uganda offer the right pace to track gorillas, meet communities and watch the country slow down between parks. Private and tailor-made options are also available.

Some inspiration from our blog
Uganda is one of Africa’s most rewarding destinations for wildlife and nature travel. It is especially known for gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, chimpanzee tracking, and diverse safari experiences across its national parks. With fewer crowds than many other safari countries, Uganda offers a more personal and immersive way to experience Africa’s wildlife and landscapes.
Travellers should take normal safety precautions, particularly on the roads, as driving conditions and traffic behaviour can vary. It is advisable to be cautious when crossing streets and travelling long distances by road. Following local guidance and travelling with experienced operators helps ensure a smoother and safer experience throughout your trip.
Most travellers, including British, US and Australian nationals, require a visa to enter Uganda. This is typically obtained online in advance through the official e-visa system. Entry requirements may change, so it is recommended to check the latest information with the relevant embassy or official government source before travel.
