Kenya Tours & Holidays
Kenya holiday packages with us head far beyond the safari minibus circuit, into a wilder country few travellers ever see. Expect desert lakes, nomadic tribes and Rift Valley wildlife.

Kenya was a safari pioneer and, for a time, a victim of its own success, an image stuck in the dust clouds of minibuses circling a lone lion. The reality is far richer: a country of harsh deserts, snow-touched mountains, soda lakes, Rift Valley parks and a wind-blown northern frontier where the Samburu, Gabbra, El Molo and Rendille still live by very old rules.
Our Kenya tour packages take you well past the usual circuits and into the country’s wilder northern reaches: Samburu and Sibiloi National Parks, the volcanic peak of Marsabit, the surreal Chalbi Desert, the jade waters of Lake Turkana, and the bird-rich Rift Valley lakes. Choose scheduled small group Kenya holidays, add a coast extension for Kenya beach holidays, or build fully bespoke Kenya cultural tours around the northern tribes, with every journey leaving time to stop, talk, watch, and let the landscape sink in.

Undiscovered Destinations creates thoughtfully designed Kenya tours that go beyond the usual highlights, combining iconic sights with rewarding lesser-known experiences. Our routes span Kenya’s wilder regions, from Samburu’s semi-desert plains and the volcanic slopes of Marsabit to the jade waters of Lake Turkana and the flamingo-fringed Rift Valley lakes of Bogoria and Nakuru.
Our Kenya holidays are operated in small groups, allowing for a more personal and flexible experience with expert local guidance throughout. For travellers seeking authentic cultural immersion alongside genuine wildlife encounters on Kenya guided tours, our escorted small group tours offer the ideal balance of depth, pace and access to communities most operators never reach. Private and tailor-made options are also available.

This Kenya wildlife tour begins in Nairobi and heads into the country’s least-visited frontier, through Samburu National Reserve and the volcanic forests of Marsabit to the lava plains of the Chalbi Desert. The route then crosses into Sibiloi, a UNESCO-listed fossil site, before reaching the jade-coloured shores of Lake Turkana and the El Molo, the smallest tribe in Kenya. From there the journey winds south past Mount Nyiru and Maralal to the Rift Valley lakes of Baringo, Bogoria, Nakuru and Naivasha, where rhino tracking, flamingo flocks and a boat cruise on Naivasha close the trip. Kenya is visa-free for most travellers; however, all foreign visitors, including British, US and Australian nationals, must obtain an Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA) before travel. The eTA should be applied for online via the official Kenyan government portal prior to departure, ideally a few days in advance. Travellers must also hold a passport valid for at least six months from the date of entry. We provide up-to-date visa guidance once your booking is confirmed.
