Jason Van Der Wath
Born and raised in South Africa, I began travelling at the age of 21 and haven’t looked back since. What started as a personal journey soon became a lifelong pursuit, one that led me to take the leap and move overseas to be more centrally located, closer to the heart of global travel routes.
Along the way, I took on a variety of roles to support my travels, all of which added to a growing understanding of how transformative and enriching travel can be. Eventually, I settled in Newcastle, where I turned my passion into my profession, joining Undiscovered Destinations as a Travel Consultant.
Today, I design and manage travel experiences for customers around the world, with the same care and excitement I bring to my own adventures. Whether it’s crafting complex overland journeys or advising on off-the-beaten-path destinations, travel has become part of my daily life, whether I’m planning my own next escape or helping others plan theirs.
